Andrew graduated from University of Wisconsin at Oshkosh with a Bachelor of Science in Geology. He then began his professional career as a Hydrogeologist with the State of Wisconsin, Department of Natural Resources in the Bureau of Remediation and Development Program. As a Hydrogeologist and Project Manager for the State of Wisconsin, Andrew worked on contaminated Sites as defined by United State Environmental Protection Agency legislation and the SpillsLaw § 292.11 Wisconsin Statutes as well as the Natural Resources Series of Wisconsin Administrative Code.

Although he worked on a myriad of contaminated projects he specialized in State road project for the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, and underground storage tanks. Andrew’s specific experience as a government regulator working for the Department of Natural Resources has given him unique insight into the workings of the same entities which regulate the contaminated Sites of the Clients he now serves.

This experience has proven to be invaluable to his move into the Private sector of consulting and eventually for his company, Apex Environmental Solutions.

After his career at the Department of Natural Resources, Andrew worked privately for an environmental consulting company as a Project Manager. Andrew’s experience as a Project Manager gave him higher level project coordination and management skills honing his ability to meet deadlines, bid contracts and manage multi-faceted complex environmental projects.

From these experiences it became apparent that Andrew could provide higher quality, timely service in order to better serve the ever-growing demands of environmental projects in the State of Wisconsin. The clear choice was to start an environmental consulting agency giving him the freedom and ability to fully utilize his highly specific environmental background in order to serve the needs of many clients.
